The Lamplighters Senior Ministry
The focus and mission of our seniors' ministry can be found in Luke 12:35, “Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning..,”. Lamplighters believe the senior years are a time for renewed vision and purpose, a God-given time in life to invest in their families, their church and their community and to eagerly look forward to the good things God has in store for His people.
Lamplighters believe in the biblical mandate to disciple, befriend and mentor the younger generations. Special events such as hayrides, fishing trips, cooking and scrap booking classes are designed to provide opportunities to do just that!
Lamplighters, also, believe in fun and meet regularly for fellowship and encouragement through events such as dinner theatre, picnics, special classes and local trips.
