As a New Testament church, the following statements express our mission...

Our Relationship With God

  1. To know God and to glorify and enjoy Him forever
  2. To see true extravagant worship restored in its fullness expressed by the individual and by the gathered church
  3. To rely, in all we do, upon the direction and the empowering of the holy Spirit
  4. To help each person committed to our care grow secure in the grace and love of God, in order to live a victorious life of faith in Christ Jesus
  5. To help each person grow in personal holiness
  6. To ensure that prayer and the study of God's Word permeate the life of each believer

Our Aims for the Church and the World

  1. To see the Ephesians 4:11 ministry gifts (apostle, prophets, evengelists, pastors and teachers) "equipping the saints for the work of the ministry" so each person can function in his or her role, calling and spiritual gifts
  2. To experience consistently the activity of God expressed through the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit
  3. To reach the lost through public and personal evangelism with signs and wonders following
  4. To provide new converts with care and foundational teaching that they might be baptized in water, filled with the Holy Spirit and become functioning, productive members of the Body of Christ
  5. To value and develop God-given leadership that exemplifies Christian virtue (integrity, loyalty, humility and charity)
  6. To help each person learn God's principles for becoming faithful stewards of God's resources in this life and so to enjoy financial freedom, Biblical prosperity and abundance to extend the Kingdom of God in the earth
  7. To demonstrate our love for the Lord Jesus Christ through ministry to those in need by providing spiritual an practical assistance to the poor, sick, widows, orphans and unwed mothers
  8. To be a prophetic people corporately discerning, demonstrating and declaring the Word of the Lord to our generation
  9. To see the church fulfill our world mission to see that the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached among every people-group of our generation

Our Relationship with One Another

  1. To relate to one another on the basis of commitment rather than convenience while building interpersonal relationships with one another that go beyond merely attending meetings
  2. To demonstrate through covenant relationships the character and love of God by serving, honoring, encouraging, admonishing and caring for one another
  3. To walk in our covenant relationship with Jesus Christ and one another remaining loyal and handling conflicts and misunderstandings according to the Word of God
  4. To build strong marriages and families experiencing "righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit"

To pursue excellence in all we undertake to the Glory of the One Whose name is excellent, our Lord Jesus Christ
